ERIKA Sales Division No.2 Joined in 2019
As I was looking for a job, I learned the importance of logistics and was also interested in trucks that support the industry. We are a top-class domestic parts manufacturer that manufactures brakes, water pumps, and oil pumps, which are important safety parts for trucks. I have a good feeling about the TBK’s management philosophy of "producing customer-oriented products while contributing to the well-being of society," and the interview made me decide to join TBK, which explained current challenges, future prospects, and the background “Why are we aiming for that?"
The Sales Division No.2 is a department that proposes and sells products that utilize our technology to automotive manufacturers. Among them, I am in charge of a major domestic automotive manufacturers. Our business is not a "sales based upon the catalogs", which just introduces our existing products, but plays a role like a control tower. First of all, we listen to the customers’ needs and problems, and then explore and realize the way of production to realize and solve them under the cooperation with our development, purchasing, manufacturing departments and others. Preparation and in-house regulation are essential to the success of the project. From the standpoint of each department, the key to success is to think ahead of time and prepare what kind of information should be shared and supported to facilitate the project.
I have an impression of TBK, which is well ventilated company, at the interview. Even now it hasn't changed at all. It's very easy to talk to seniors or bosses not only in the department but also in other departments, and there is an atmosphere where you can easily consult about anything when you are in trouble. In particular, I am in a position where there are many opportunities for coordination in sales, so I feel this kind of environment is very helpful for me to proceed with my work. What I would like to convey to everyone who is expected to play an active role in TBK is to be considerate of the other persons and to be respectful of their opinions.
